A Bit About Me
I don’t call myself a trainer; I call myself a coach. I focus on coaching clients to build from the basics to help them reach their goals through adherence. By concentrating on the foundations of resistance training, as well as lifestyle habits outside of the gym, I help clients to collect the necessary tools to establish a sustainable lifestyle, one change at a time. I build their confidence by highlighting their small and big wins, and I always look to turn perceived failures into feedback and teachable moments.
I am warm and inviting. I am emotionally intelligent, authentic, and kind. I enjoy learning about my clients and building rapport with them while providing them with a comprehensive and educational exercise experience.
I want my clients to leave a session feeling more knowledgeable than when they came in. There is so much information on the internet that it’s easy for clients to feel confused about how to meet their goals. I believe in the ‘teach a man to fish philosophy, wherein I want them to one day feel like they learned enough to feel confident to train on their own. I want them to know that it’s not my way or the highway, but rather this is a collaborative experience to guide them to their desired goal.
I believe in evidence-based exercise and nutrition programs that have a strong standing in the industry. I apply habit-based coaching approaches to all clients to ensure self-efficacy and long-term success. I am a lifetime student, so I always try to stay up to date with industry best practices through certifications, conferences, and courses to be a well-rounded coach.
